I saw this on one of my friends blog. I thought it was such a fun and cute idea! (So I conformed!)
Here are the rules...
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together( it can be for Joni, Chase or both). It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you! If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you!
Lets have fun!

Blueberry Picking!
A you can tell I am trying to catch up and keep everyone a little more informed with what is going on in our boring lives!

So I went blueberry picking for the first time ever! It was fun! I went with Kristen and Ellie (our friends who live right next door!)
We have really enjoyed eating blueberries in pancakes, milkshakes, muffins and more...maybe we will enjoy some jam too if I get around to it!
4th of July Fun!
For the 4th we hung out with a few couples in our ward...had a BBQ, went swimming and played sand volleyball and of course watched the fireworks as well as lit off a bunch too!
Brady Comes to Visit...
So at the end of June, Brady (Chase's brother) came to visit because he had a job interview in Indianapolis, IN which is only about an hour away from us. We were happy to have him visit and Chase loved having his brother here for a few days.
Good News!!Oh and we also found out a few weeks ago that Brady got the job in Indy!!! Way cool! It will be awesome having family so near!

Visit to Family
At the end of June we were able to go to Dayton, Ohio to visit my Aunt Angie and Uncle Andrew and cousins (Bryant, Avery, & Jeremiah). It was way fun! We went to a pre-4th of July Celebration on the Air Force Base and watched the fighter planes fly over and watched fireworks...it was quite the show. On Saturday we went to a Nature preserve called Charlston Falls ( I think?) It was really quite pretty...afterwards we headed to the Air Force Base Museum...pretty cool! Chase really enjoyed that!

Exploring Our New Town
So Chase and I decided to explore our new town one Friday evening for a date night...so to begin our adventure, we walked across the Wabash River on a foot bridge (quite nice!) and then walked around downtown Lafayette area. It was fun to see some of the sites that Lafayette has to offer. Later we came back across the bridge to find a yummy ice cream place...
These two pictures are of the train station here... it is a passenger and cargo train
This is the Courthouse here in Lafayette...
Here is the beautiful (not so beautiful) Wabash River...it is actually quite dirty but it looks pretty!

Chase's Birthday...June 18th!
Happy Birthday Chase!!!
Wow Chase is now 24! We had a fun time celebrating his Birthday! We had a good dinner if I say so myself ( I cooked!) Then presents...dessert....the trick candles didn't work =( And then we played frisbee golf. It was fun but the majority of the time was spent digging the frisbee (mine=) out of the swampy areas...oh well what can I say. I haven't quite reached the expert level!
Chase is excited for his candles...those darn trick candles...too bad they didn't work!
Dessert Time!
