Not Much News

This last weekend we headed to Indy again to celebrate our brother-in-law, Paul's birthday. Sadly I don't have pictures to show for it! It is so nice being so close to family and that we can see them so often.

Other than that our lives are pretty normal. I have been working on projects here and there and hopefully will have pictures to post soon! Chase left on Sunday for a week long conference in Gatlinburg, TN. I will be joining him soon which I am excited about (but not the 7 hour drive that goes with it!). We will also be visiting our friends Christy & Eric and watching General Conference which I am also excited about!

I just wanted to share this video from the church. It portrays many of the thoughts I have had and offers encouragement I think we all need at some point in our lives.

A Fun Weekend At Home With Visitors!

This past weekend Brady, Tasha, Molly & Ethan came for a nice short weekend visit. We didn't do much but it is always fun just hanging out. On Saturday we went to a nearby park where the boys could practice riding Brady's unicycle and Molly could play on the toys!

It was kinda hard to get up on his own...But he kept trying!
And it paid off!

Labor Day Weekend Fun: Baby Blessing, Beach, & Hanging Out!

These pictures aren't in the correct order, so bare with me! This last weekend we went down to Indianapolis for a meeting with our case worker and then just ended up staying down there with Brady & Tasha. On Sunday we attended Brady & Tasha's baby Ethan's blessing. The next day on Labor Day we along with Brady & Tasha family and Janelle & Paul family headed to the Indiana Dunes State Park for a day at the beach! We had lots of fun all together and really felt blessed that we live so close to be able to do something like this!

Holiday World #2

Holiday world round 2! The first time we went to Holiday world we ended up getting rained out and they gave everyone a complimentary ticket so we along with Jason and Melissa decided to try again and go this last weekend. It turned out to be way fun! We rode lots of rides and spent some time in Splashin' Safari! We really enjoyed the day =) The only downfall was driving the 4 1/2 hours home...

Going on some rides!

Chase is so ready to drive and bump some cars!

Ice cream anyone?!!

Our Friends Come to Visit!!

We were so lucky to have our good friends, Ryan & Kristen and their two kiddos, Ellie and Annie come visit us all the way from China! Well they actually came to visit family and attend a couple family weddings but we were so glad they made time out of their busy schedule to come see us! They are doing such a neat thing but it is so sad to be so far. It was great to have them come for a nice pizza dinner and some good visiting and playing. Thanks for coming guys!
Playing a quick game of Pirate's Dice.
Ellie has gotten taller and older since we last saw her, still her cute happy busy self!
Annie has grown so much since we last saw her too, what a cutie!
