Back to Normal Life

Since we have come home we have gotten back into the somewhat normal life, to say the least! It took a few days to get back into a normal routine and comfortable with this time zone. We had a few very drowsy days...that two hour time difference really does make a difference! Since coming home we have spent a lot of time with friends, Chase going back to school and RA duties, studying for the qualifier, me starting to babysit my friend's two month old, still playing lots of games, going to Indy, and back to the endless list of projects! This last weekend, Chase, Brady, Paul, and Jason went to Detroit to the International Car Show and us girls stayed in Indy and hung out and made some cute stuff! Most recently we had a little informal going away party for our friends Jeff & Alisha Hillam because they are headed off into the world of real work/career and moving to Dayton, OH. We are sad to see them go and will really miss having them so close

Here is one of my most recently finished projects that I made for my niece Gracey who is getting baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints this next month. Congratulations Gracey!

This is one of the projects us girls worked on while the guys played in Detroit...I painted the frame and then we put vinyl decals on the glass...its not quite finished here but it turned out pretty cute!

Here is our other project...a hanging dishtowel. I was super happy about it!

Ice Skating with Pete & Laura a few weeks ago!

I love ice skating so much...I think somewhere in my heart of hearts I want to be a professional Ice Skater! Oh well, I guess I will have to stick with going a few times a year to Riverside Ice Skating Rink for now!
