The Good Life...and Being Prepared
Lately I have been on a kick about getting our food storage in gear and getting prepared. So as a result I have been talking with my mom and trying to figure out a good method of collecting food storage. I found a cool website that sends out bi-weekly emails of checklists to get you prepared and not just with food storage...http://foodstoragemadeeasy.net/. I kinda like it! Also our relief society is sending out weekly emails with items to add to our 72 hour kits. That is also very helpful! As most of you know we are somewhat limited on space sooo that leads us to be more resourceful with what we have...Buckets under the table anyone???
Here is a cute picture of Chase a few days ago. He has been busy as usual with school and studying for the upcoming Ph.D qualifier exam. Scary!!
Recently I was feeling in the mood for Jamba Juice's Peanut Butter Moo'd which I use to enjoy in Pocatello. But they don't happen to have that store in West Lafayette so I tried to be creative and added Peanut Butter ice cream, chocolate syrup, milk, ice, and a banana and it turned out to be a wonderful sweet treat!
Just this last week we celebrated our friend Pete's b-day. It was super fun, we played Mario Party, duh because we were having a party!
I realize this is a super random post with several non-related items but hey thats life, Right?!! Oh and I can't forget...we are picking up Drake tonight from the airport. We are super glad he is coming! If you don't know who he is, well he is Chase's brother who has been on an LDS mission in Ukraine for the last two years and now he is going to visit us and his other 2 siblings in Indy. Yay!

Good job getting together your food storage, it is tough in these little apartments.
Is your brother-in-law coming tonight? I hope you have fun spending some time with him!
Cool I love to see pictures, I need to get better about my food storage too. Tell Drake hi for us! We love you guys and miss you bunches!
