Happenings the Last Few Weeks!

So I confess, it has been quite awhile since I have posted. Would you believe that I have been super busy? Well even if you don't- I have! October seemed to just fly by in a wink. I love the lingering fall colors and hope they stay a little bit longer! Here are just a few happenings in October...
This was taken while we were at a Nuclear Department picnic at Happy Hollow Park. Aren't the trees just lovely?
We celebrated Melissa's birthday!
We also took a jaunt to Missouri- can you guess where we went? I wish it were Pocahontas! Isn't that the coolest name of a town ever?
Saw this on the way there...Love it!

While in St. Louis we visited the Arch of course!
At the top.
Don't look at my silly face- but isn't the fountain cool?
A neat picture of the old courthouse and arch.

We also visited the temple there. It was quite lovely as are all the temples. I love visiting new temples!

While there we also visited the science center. Can you believe it is free?
This was Chase's favorite part of the whole center!
This is a hopscotch board that plays different musical notes when you jump on the different numbers.
Then we also visited the zoo- also free! I love St. Louis! The Hippos were sooooo cool!
Elephants
Penguins
And that my friends was the end of our trip. It was a nice ending. The zoo was quite impressive. They also have a lot of free museums that we didn't make it to. When I was younger my family visited St. Louis and I had had such good memories of it so I wanted to take Chase there since he had never been there. It was worth the four + hours to get there =)

St. Louis looks like so much fun! Take me the next time you go, 'kay? Just kidding--kind of :).
