Here are just some random pictures from the last little while. We haven't been up to much- just normal life! We have spent some time with family and have had some good times but unfortunately i didn't take any pictures.
Alvin has learned to prop himself up really well on his stomach! My first ever apple braid. I was so proud!
We celebrated my niece's 11th birthday! I can't believe how fast they grow!
Me and my boy!
We love bath times at our place! Alvin just loves them and that makes so we love them too!
Last month we sold our 98 chevy prism to my sister and her new husband and got this truck. Its actually older than our prism but we have been wanting a truck. It was sad to see our little car go. Its been a great car the last 6+ years and we have put tons of miles and memories into it. We are glad it is staying in the family though!
So since moving and finding we have more room than furniture we have attempted some projects. This is one of them...a large ottoman! Chase did most of the work on it and he did a great job.
Chase pondering on it...too bad we didn't end up using this fabric. He is such a handyman and I love it!
This room is still quite empty but it is a work in progress.
Alvin in his snow suit. Its been nice especially with the cold weather here in Idaho! My cute little man.
Here are some random shots we took of Alvin. I just had to share!
He is such a happy little guy!
He loves to blow bubbles.
This one is fuzzy because he is moving lots. Chase likes to tease him!
Just this last Sunday... Not sure if I mentioned in an earlier post but we are enjoying our ward. It is crazy that our ward pretty much encompasses our neighborhood. Quite different than Indiana. I am working with the Activity Days and Chase is an assistant advisor in the Deacon's quorum and also assistant scout master. I think he is very much looking forward to camping lots this summer! It is a great opportunity for us both to rub shoulders with such wonderful youth and it keeps us learning and occupied. Chase also has wanted to get out and play raquetball. Hopefully soon. He has also been trying to get out and play with the ward's basketball team. It is a good workout so I hear!
I love everything about babies. It is amazing they have such tiny features and are so perfect.
Alvin playing with Dad!
Chase is enjoying work and continues to learn much. It is still weird to me that we aren't in school anymore but change is always good.
Life is good and the weeks just seem to fly by. I am still trying to figure out a good schedule and use of time. Motherhood is wonderful and I have much to learn. Alvin is patient and forgiving. I am so thankful for our miracle.
