I realized the other day its been awhile since I posted. So here are A LOT of pictures showing what we have been up to and not in order and very random!
We finally got out to go sledding. It was my goal this winter to take Alvin and we finally did! Here we are getting ready.
At the sledding hill we found a headless snowman so Alvin substituted himself! He wasn't too thrilled about it though!
Here is a project Chase has been working on the last little while. He has done a great job so far and I am excited to see the end product!
A couple of weekends ago Chase was able to get out with his siblings and dad to go skiing. First time this season (and maybe only time sadly).
Lately Alvin has really been into books and I love it! I love that he likes to read with me and will sit in my lap with a book. Reading can create such great memories together!
Here is Chase teaching Alvin to do a somersault. He almost has the hang of it!
Building a tower! Alvin is now into another phase of building and stacking rather than constantly knocking down. It is so fun to see and watch!
At the beginning of the month we were making lots of trips to Utah and this happens to be on one of our trips we had a nice extended weekend in Utah and spent some time on Temple Square showing Alvin the sights.
Drake (Chase's brother) and his fiancé Katie joined us in Utah for some of the time and it was fun getting together.
Alvin enjoying a cardboard box! He got a new car seat! A bigger boy car seat! Yay!
More sledding pictures. Alvin all bundled up.
He wasn't quite sure what to think about the sledding part of it. I don't think he even cracked a smile once.
Lately we have been doing some fun activities together and here is one of them- smooshing paint around.
Stacking bowls.
This last weekend we celebrated my dad's birthday. It is so fun being close enough to family that we can go to these.
Just the other day I was trying to cook and Alvin was being less than helpful so I gave him his own "cooking" materials and he loved it!
Stacking containers. I can't believe he actually stacks them now. He would always just knock things down. It is fun to see progression!
Trying on Daddy's shoes!
trying to be like Mr. Potato Head!
He is such a fun silly boy! We sure love him! I can't believe he is almost 18 months old and will be in nursery soon! We are looking forward to that part. =)
Pom pom bucket.
We went out to eat this last week and Alvin kept putting the to go box on his head. It was hilarious.
More fun activities.
Signing "more" Alvin style.
Smoochy face!
Such a joy! Do you see his bruise? So sad. He is always bonking his head.
Playing in Utah at a friends.
In January Chase and I went to this acrobatic show in Rexburg. It was pretty cool and we enjoyed the show. This is a bad picture but he stacked several chairs onto another and balanced on them all while doing different moves.
After the show!
Exercising like mommy! (I actually need to be doing that!)
Chase's aftermath of his project.
Last month we also went to the TV museum in Rigby (Their claim to fame) and Alvin loved it! He was jabbering and pointing the whole way through it. His parents on the other hand thought it was ok.
Another haircut!
Don't worry he still loves to play in the dishwasher.
Wanting to go somewhere. =( Sad we just stayed home.
My little writer.
Playing at his buddy Davis' house. They aren't even by each other! Funny!
Playing at Remy's house in Utah!
While in Utah we stopped at Jay Dawgs for their famous hot dogs and they were sure yummy!
Well that about summarizes what we have been up to lately! It was fun to see family and friends while in Utah and we enjoyed the time with them and catching up.
