Welcome New Year!

2014 has come and gone. Now a New Year! It is crazy how time flies. 

Clark turned 2 months old the end of December! He is growing so fast!

Around 2 months, Clark was still getting hiccups quite a bit but they have faded off and he doesn't get them as much now. He is a smiley baby and I love it when I go in and get him from the crib and he is grinning up at me. He smiles real easily and especially when Alvin comes up to him! He is holding his head up really well now and can sit in the bumbo although he doesn’t like to be in it for very long. Just before two months he started putting his hands in his mouth more and more and then at two months found his thumb. He didn’t find it consistently but lately has been sucking it more and more and when I go in to check on him, often he is sucking his thumb. He will still take a pacifier well. I guess we will see which one wins out. He also started chuckling around the 1st of January. He is quite ticklish and will grunt/chuckle. He hasn’t laughed out right but it is still pretty cute. He coos a lot and is very vocal, he has a lot to say. He is more vocal than Alvin was when he was a baby. Clark chuckles when I laugh which is pretty funny. He has also started to bat at toys. He loves to stand and has strong legs. He loves to be held and doesn’t like to be alone and will let you know. He likes attention! He is a good baby and we sure love him! 

He eats really well and has also started to consistently sleep through the night! It is wonderful! I hope it keeps up. 

The beginning of January, Clark was blessed by Chase. It was so nice to have family come and be present. It was a big group! This is Chase's side of the family.

Chase and I got to go skiing part of a day recently. It was my first time back at it for several years. I am glad it came back to me as it did. I quite enjoyed it!

Chase went on a campout recently with his deacons (scouts). They built snow caves and this was Chase's.
