I promise this is the last post today! I guess I have been just a little busy the last few weeks! Well just a few days after coming home from San Diego we loaded our car to the brim and drove to Tennessee. Chase is doing a short 6 week internship here at ORNL (Oak Ridge National Lab) for the summer. While we are here we are living in the home of some members Christy & Eric and renting the upstairs (basically) while also sharing laundry and kitchen facilities. It has actually turned out to be a great arrangement. We had looked into short term furnished housing for the summer but it is hard to find something for just 6 weeks and also find something reasonably priced without breaking the bank so this worked out well thanks to the Bishop and his referral.
Just a few days ago Eric found a turtle outside their house. It was so cute and awesome!
One of the things I am most excited about living here is the dishwasher!! Yay for dishwashers!
Our new bedroom!
On our way to Tennessee we stopped at Ohio Falls which is on the border of Indiana and Kentucky. It has lots of fossil beds along the river which are quite amazing.
Our car packed to the brim!
Tennessee is so pretty with mountains and lots of trees. It was fun driving out here because it just got prettier and prettier. We didn't get very good pictures of it but we were glad to have some mountains again!
