One of the days last week we went exploring into downtown Knoxville. (The University of Tennessee's campus is located there). Before heading downtown we ate at a local Southern/Italian restaurant chain called Puleo's Grille. We ate a common southern dish consisting of fried green tomatoes and grits. It was pretty good and Chase loved the fried green tomatoes! Then we headed downtown and walked around this awesome park called the World's Fair Park. It was the location of the World Fair in 1982...
The picture is kinda dark but here I am standing in front of the tall Sun Sphere near the park. We wanted to go to the top but it was closed for the day =(
In the park they had this awesome fountain that lots of kids were playing in. I really wanted to join them!
Here is Chase walking around this veterans memorial. It was actually pretty neat there.
