We hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July Weekend! It was a great reminder to me of the wonderful country we live in and the freedoms we enjoy. I am truly grateful to be a part of it! Here we are on the 4th watching fireworks. We enjoyed a BBQ with Eric and Christy and some of their family earlier in the evening and then visiting and hanging out until the fireworks.
The next day (Monday) we went river rafting!! It was outside of a town called Bryson City in North Carolina. We rafted the Nantahala River.

HOLY SMOKES!!! That looks like you guys had so much fun! How did you get those awesome rapid pictures? You look great and happy, but Molly is ready for you to come home now! :-)
Joni, this is Michael's and Sara's sister-in-law. I'm so impressed with all the fun and adventurous outings you and Chase have all the time! Your Independence weekend must have been wonderful. I'll email you an invite to our family blog. Even though it's private, I still have quite a few readers and have put up your beautiful Adoption Blog Button. I'm so excited for your miracle baby to come into your family in the next while. My older sister was adopted, and then years later my mom and dad were surprised with my brother, me, and then finally my little sister. Adoption is wonderful, and I can't imagine life without my older sister. You two are an amazing couple, and we know you'll be blessed soon with your first of perhaps many children.
By the way, the invite will be in French. The blog is primarily in French, but the most recent posts happen to be in English.
