Completely Random Post of Tidbits From Our Lives

So this is a completely random post in which I thought I would share a little randomness from our lives! The picture of Chase is him surrounded by one of his favorite games right now which is Dominion. He loves it! So I had to take this picture right before us playing a game! He probably didn't think I was going to post it...sorry Chase!

The buckets are to demonstrate one of the coolest finds as of late. I don't know about you but I have a horrible time getting those darn lids off the normal food storage buckets. I practically break my non-existent nails each time I try to get some flour and such so these are awesome! They have air tight lids that you can screw on and off. Love it!

Another cool find was this cute vintage looking stool from Goodwill. We have been living without a piano stool since we acquired our piano 4 years ago. The colors actually match perfectly with our living room but it needs a little tlc!

A recent project of mine was covering our living room pillows. I haven't ever been real happy with them so coming back from Tennessee gave me a great excuse to find some new projects. I was happy with how they turned out and they really lighten up the room!

Some other random thoughts...So last week I watched this old 1946 film called Best Years of our Lives. It was about 3 WWII veterans who were coming home and about how they adjust to civilian life. It was a really good movie that demonstrated the different difficulties our soldiers must go through when getting back from overseas. I highly recommend it.

Another film Chase and I watched recently was Letters to God. It was a really neat story about a boy who has cancer and who writes letters to God and how it influences many lives. It was so neat but quite a tear jerker.
