There was a bit more going on this last week as opposed to two weeks ago! Its nice to have little breaks between the crazy times, don't you agree?
This last week I started helping one of my neighbors with learning English. She brought me this lovely cake. It was packaged so nicely and was just lovely, so I took a picture of it! She is so sweet. We probably have some of the best neighbors ever because they put up with us!
Last Thursday, Chase and I were able to go to the Off-Broadway Musical Legally Blonde. It was pretty fun, especially being with Chase. Overall I thought it was a pretty good show. The singing was great. The main gal playing Elle had a fantastic voice and believe it or not graduated from BYU. It played out just like the movie except with music. There were a few things that kind of turned me off. All in all I have only been to one other professional grade musical which was Wicked and so it is hard to compare, because Wicked was just AMAZING!
Also last week we had some major outside renovations going on outside our apartment. There has been some problems with the electricity so they ended up digging a mote outside my apartment entry way to get to the electrical lines. It made it somewhat difficult to go get the mail with J.
Later in the day they finally filled it in. It was interesting to watch all the going ons!
Also last week we attended a going away party for our friends Lynnette and Ross. They will be moving soon and we will miss them. It is so sad to say goodbye to such good friends.
Also this last weekend we went to a local corn maze with some friends. Here is the tractor guy pulling us on a hay ride to the corn maze.
To the corn maze we go!
We were trying to hide in the corn!
Posing in front of the corn!
Finishing up the maze. It was pretty confusing and we mostly just went around in circles- but hey there was lovely corn to look at!
Another thing that has given us something to do is making our costumes for Halloween. They are pretty cool if I say so myself. So look forward to some pictures soon!
