Saturday afternoon we headed toward the Indianapolis surrounding area to have fun with some friends! Our friend Pete had a birthday so we got to get together for some pizza and fun times!

On another note...here is a little valentines day decoration I made. The paper roses are made from old book pages (sorry to you book lovers...we had an extra of this particular book to make you feel better =)...) anyhow I love the look it creates. I inked the edges with pink ink and I like the affect. Pretty easy =)
If you didn't hear the big news- the midwest got hit pretty hard with snow and ice so yesterday the university had a snow day and also today!! Chase had to do rounds last night among the undergrad apartments and here he is all geared up to go out!

CUTE paper roses! :) Glad you got to have Chase home during the scary winter weather, even if it wasn't as bad as we had been told, it was still pretty nasty out there!

I'm glad you found us! It's great to hear from you. How are you guys holding up in IN? I can't believe all the snow you're getting--so crazy! Do you know where you'll go in Germany? We've used the metro and buses for all of our travels--we're getting pretty good at navigating in the metro stations. :) Carlos researched a lot of stuff online and we have some travel books that we've used to plan our trips--it's a lot of work, but worth it. I love those paper roses! So pretty. If only every day was a snow day during the winter--not the part about icy, snowy roads, just the part about no school!
