Random Post!

This is quite the random post but I guess that is pretty normal for me!

This is Chase doing some work at home. Isn't he so cute?!

The end of January we were able to get together with friends to celebrate our friend Pete's birthday with bowling and food. It was great fun!

At the bowling alley! I actually bowled over 100 one of my games at least!

So recently Chase and I have started to actually plan date nights. Before, since it is just us we always hang out in the evenings and weekends, but we decided we actually needed to have a formal date night once a week. So we put together a list of date ideas and this is one of them. A dollar store date night! So all those objects up above represent our date activities for the night. We each were given a certain amount to spend and we used it to get both a treat and activities to do.

First on the agenda- silly string war. Chase's choice of activity!

Then we did boondoggling. I totally didn't remember how to do it but Chase was a pro!

THEN....balloon rockets! They were super hard to blow up but once you let them go they were pretty awesome! We actually didn't finish with all the activities we got. After some fun playing we settled down for a fun movie. It was a great night!

A previous date night we cracked out the oil paints and tried our hands at oil painting. It was a lot harder than we both anticipated. Pictures will have to forthcoming as we are not finished yet!

Here are just a few projects I have completed recently. This lamp actually has been in the progress for several months now and with Chase's help we got it exactly how we want it! I got the idea from HERE

It was just so cute that I wanted to make it and I am so relieved to have it done!

Here is another little ditty I finished for a Valentine's Day Decor. I got the idea from HERE but instead of doing it like she did I just used what I had at home and made one sign.
