Alvin's First Flight & Visit to Good Old Indiana!

This last weekend we took Alvin on his first flight ever to Indiana! We wanted to go back before he was too old and also wanted to go while people were still there that we knew and we figured if we waited too long we might never go back. We are so glad we did. It was so good to see so many of the people we love and to reminisce about the many good times we had in Indiana.

Boarding the plane!
Alvin did pretty well on all the flights! We are so thankful.

While we were in Indiana we met up with Chase's old office mates and enjoyed a lunch together.

Alvin made a new friend over lunch time. He doesn't look really happy in this shot but he really was quite happy with Eric!

We also visited some special friends while we were in town.
These two ladies are quite special to me. I got to visit teach them for a while and I have so enjoyed getting to know them.

We also visited many others that we don't have pictures to show for it and there were so many we weren't able to visit which made us sad. One of things we loved about Indiana were all the wonderful people there. We really do miss you all.

We were lucky to be able to stay with our good friends the Newman's. We had a fun time with them and even got some games in while we were there. We have missed those times.
Sunday was a busy visiting day. We went to two sacrament meetings one in our old 1st ward and one in the spanish branch we attended. It was good to see so many people at both.
We are so thankful to have been able to come and for so many wonderful people!

Flying home...not as grand as flying there but it was okay!
Alvin had enough!

Driving home!

 Poor Alvin...he was tired out!

We stopped for a little eating break and Alvin loved being up at the wheel!

We're home! Here are just some extra pictures after we got home...Sporting his new hat, trying rice cereal again. I don't think he likes it any better the second time...

What do you think?
Trying carrots today...he doesn't like those either. Any tips for introducing solids to infants??? I don't know what I am doing!
