Lots O' Pics and Happenings!

We have had lots of travels lately and some fun happenings. And of course its taken me awhile to post!
We had a little St. Patrick's Day party with some friends. We had green food, some kid activities and games of luck!
We are getting ready for warmer weather and looking forward to hiking lots in the mountains of Idaho! Chase found this great deal on this used child carrier. It was awesome and made us pumped for spending quality time outdoors.

Alvin is quite the crazy sleeper and moves around a lot while in his crib. One day we found him like this: legs between the slats and sucking on the cord to his baby monitor. Time to make some changes I guess!

Every month or so we try out the johnny jumper and still no luck. He can't seem to figure it out yet. Maybe one of these days!
A few sundays back we took out the camera and were messing around. We got some pretty good shots I think!
 Daddy and Alvin.

 Mommy and Alvin.
 Our little family!

That same day Alvin spit up all over my shoulder and then rubbed his face in it...nice.

Here is my Easter Decor! Happy Easter! What a wonderful time of year to contemplate on our Risen Lord and his great life and sacrifice for which I am eternally grateful.
Alvin's Easter picture! I had a hard time getting one to work out...But oh he is so cute!

Another Easter picture...On Easter. We don't really do easter baskets but here is one we had telling the Easter story in each of the eggs.
Easter weekend we drove down to Utah and visited some friends. Here are some of our good friends from the Spanish Branch in Indiana. They moved shortly before we did. It was good to see them! We also saw some other friends from Indiana, Skyler and Lindsey and their kids. It was great to see them all again! We also visited family in the area which was really nice as well.
One of the main reasons for the trip was because some members from Chase's mission in Spain were coming to Utah and were having a get together with past missionaries. Here we are with them and one of their sons! It was really nice to see them again. We had stayed with them back in 2007 when we went back to Chase's mission so it was great to catch up again.

 The group!
 Alvin lounging with Chase!
General Conference weekend hanging with family! Check out the conference here!
Sorry this is where we get all out of order! Still braving the cold Idaho weather!
A few Fridays ago we went up to Rexburg to visit Chase's grandparents. It was great to see them and they were glad to see Alvin and how he has grown.

Also a few weekends back my sister, mom, Aunt Leonora, Aunt Diane, my friend Toni and her mom and me all went to Time Out for Women. Sadly my mom got sick and missed the whole Saturday session and my Aunt Leonora only was able to go Friday night. It was really great and gave me some rejuvenation and inspiration that I have been lacking. I really enjoyed the time and it was great to spend it with such wonderful women!
I tried a new recipe called artichoke spinach grilled cheese sandwiches which were really yummy but it also made a great dip! I love trying new recipes which I am doing often thanks to pinterest!
My neighbor gave me these lovely daffodils for Easter. I love spring time when all the flowers come out to bloom and the world is new again.
Alvin got a hold of my plant! A different one...
 Happy boy!
Alvin loves to play catch and will laugh lots when we do!
It has been so nice living so close to my sister because now we can go to simple things like birthday parties! Here is my nephew enjoying some of his birthday gifts.

Alvin is learning to sit up better all the time especially now that he has rolling down!
 pharaoh baby!
Chase took on the big job of pruning our apple trees which haven't been pruned in quite a while. It was a big chore and left him quite sore!
It was quite the load to get rid of too!
Styling Alvin! I don't think he likes the glasses...What do you think?
So cute! I just love this guy!

Feeding him solids for the first time (minus some minor food tasting experiments). He doesn't like rice cereal.

 More pruning pictures!
The tree... or at least one of them!
Conference weekend we also celebrated Chase's dad's birthday. It was fun to spend that time with family and hear our prophet and apostles speak to us!

Even though this post is quite random and out of order hopefully you get the gist of some of the things we have been up to. Life is good!
