A few of things to know about my fabulous husband:
1-He loves electronics and any electric gadget.
2-He loves to know how things work.
3-He also likes to make things more efficient.
4-He is pretty smart!
So this project was perfect for him and one he and his friend came up with all on their own =)In our kitchen we have some overhead lights that sit on top of our cupboards. They are turned on and off by plugging them into an outlet. Chase wanted to figure out how to make it so it could turn on/off with a light switch wirelessly. So he and his friend worked together to build and program these little gadgets to do the job.
One of the plug-ins goes into an outlet on one side of the room and the other goes into the outlet where the lights are plugged in and with the flip of a switch they turn on and off. Crazy! Isn't he amazing?
His friend did most/or all of the programming since he is an electrical engineer and this is how they came packaged from him! They both worked to put the cases together. Chase was pretty excited to have the project completed...now its just to fine tuning the product!
