Surprise Yummy Squash Bread

So my friend gave me this squash...We think it was a morph between a zucchini and pumpkin- possibly? Not really sure what it was but supposedly it surprised my friend when it started growing in their garden! (They hadn't planted any squash this year!)
Because we had all this squash and since I love zucchini bread I thought I would make some bread out of it. After scooping the stringy stuff and seeds out I wasn't sure if I should just grate it like I would zucchini or what. So I ended up cooking it and scooping out the soft part and used this awesome recipe here. I had made it before with zucchini and it was yummy! I even claim it is somewhat healthy because besides having squash in it it also has whole wheat!
After mixing up the cooked squash with some of the ingredients it started looking like this. I was thinking- oh boy what have I done?!
Then I added some more ingredients and by the end it came out looking like this...a lot better!
The end product! So yummy! I definitely recommend this recipe!

Since we are talking about bread...
Also awhile back I was in a daring mood and had some bananas on hand that needed to be used (if you know what I mean!) and so I found this cool recipe called Coconut Banana Bread with Lime Glaze and I just so happened to have lime juice (I didn't use fresh lime juice and it turned out fine) and coconut on hand. It was a risky move I know it but TA DA!
Isn't it lovely? And it tastes great too!
