I have to apologize...the pictures are really out of order! Here are some more of what we have been up to this summer!
Picture quality isn't that great but...our friends Christy and Eric from Tennessee came to visit us this last weekend! We were so happy they came. We met them a couple years ago when Chase did his internship in Tennessee and have become great friends since then. One of our outings included a jaunt to Chicago for the day. We went to the Museum of Science and Industry and of course got Chicago style pizza! Here are some pictures in the museum!
This is walking into the museum. It is quite the building.
Now switching gears...my brother and his family came to visit for the 4th of July! We were so excited to have them come with their two little boys. On the 4th we went to a park and zoo and hung out a bit with my sister in law's parents. Here is my brother Michael, nephew Eli and Sara's dad.
Part of the zoo was this petting farm with goats! The kids enjoyed it! Here is Sara and John Ellis.
Eli and a goat...
John Ellis is such a happy little guy!
Me and my baby cooling off. It was a really warm day!
Photo shoot!
Later in the day we had a BBQ (indoors) and lit off sprinklers (outdoors!) We also spent time catching up and playing games. It was a quick visit but so nice to have them come!
The weekend before the 4th of July we actually were out in Idaho to go House Hunting. While there we spent a little time with family. Here is Chase opening up a Birthday/Graduation gift from Tasha and Brady! He had to pop all the balloons to get the surprises inside. He loved it!
Here is a picture of my with my older sister Sarah. She is due just a few days before me in October and is having a boy too! Here we are comparing bumps! My sister and her family will be moving to the same town as us pretty soon! I am so excited that my little man will have a playmate so close!
Also this last weekend we had a going away party for one of the families in the Spanish Branch. They are pioneers of the branch and had been in it since its beginning. Luz has become a special friend to me and I was sad to see them go. I am also excited for their adventures and hope the best wherever they end up.
And then most exciting of all....Chase defended last Thursday and PASSED!!
Congratulation Dr. Chase!
I am so proud of him and all his achievements! He has worked hard these last few years and has always strived to take good care of our little family. I am so grateful for him.
Yay Chase!!
