Birthday Party Fun

 A couple of weekends ago we had a combined 1 year birthday party for Alvin and his cousin Samuel. It was monkey themed and fun to put together. We had banana muffins/cupcakes, banana splits with lots of toppings, monkey sticks (pretzels), banana and peanut butter sandwiches and yellow jigglers. We played games and ate and opened presents. All important parts of a party!

 The eating part! He didn't get the blowing out the candle part but I am sure he will next year =)

 It was so funny, Alvin didn't know what to think and just stared at his cupcake and finally started dipping his finger in it tentatively and then finally dug in. Samuel on the other hand dug in from the start.

 We were so lucky... Alvin had two great grandma's that came! We were so glad they were there.

It was fun and crazy and crazy and fun. We were thankful for all the family that came. It was so good to see them all and to celebrate such wonderful boys!
