This past month has just flown by. It does that sometimes! We were so thankful for all that we were able to grow and are thankful the season is over! Lets just say we received an over abundance! More than we could handle. We did lots of veggie runs around the neighborhood.
Alvin sure enjoyed the bounty as well.
Some of our produce.
Can you believe how big this red potato is? I guess they do grow well in Idaho!
One day I was doing some baking and Alvin kept wanting to get into the flour and so I finally got him a bowl of his own. I really want to be the type of mom who lets their kids experience new things without worrying about messes all the time (it is hard for me to do sometimes!). Needless to say, he loved it! And it was a mess!
A little activity with sticky contact paper and toys. He wasn't too into it but he did find some enjoyment out of it.
Another thing he has been enjoying is pushing anything he can around, chairs etc. I was doing some sewing and he started to push my sewing machine cover around (it has wheels). He loved it! Then while we were at my friends he found a cute little shopping cart that he LOVED pushing around. He is not walking on his own, but he is getting closer!
The end of last month we headed to North Carolina for my brother's wedding. While waiting in the airport Alvin had fun pushing the stroller around. Of course anything with wheels....=)
He did great on the plane! It probably didn't hurt that Grandma and Grandpa were with us! It gave more wiggle room and people to entertain him!
Snuggling with grandma.
While at my brother's fiance's (now wife) place Alvin thoroughly enjoyed playing with this tonka truck! It was fun to see him push it around and he got a kick out of us pushing him in it.
Here is my brother and his now wife Alicia with the quilt my mom and aunt made them. They are so cute!
Just playing around!
We were so glad we were able to go out for his wedding and to spend some time with his fiance/wife, Alicia, and new son Justin. They are such great additions to our family!
More pictures to follow.

I just started putting my kids in a blow-up wading pool (inside or outside) for their messy play and it has done wonders for my stress levels. :)
I just love your pictures Joni! They are so fun! Alvin is such a cutie :)
