Sorry a little out of order! ....
The second day here in Germany, Chase attended his conference for most of the day and I got acquainted with the shopping venues in Rosenheim (all within walking distance of the conference center that is!). Then I also got some tourist information for Rosenheim (which is very very little) and spent some time in a nearby park reading. It was quite a slower day. This is a picture of Chase while we were eating lunch in the city center area. Great for shopping and eating. We actually had italian for lunch (mainly because those were the only words we could understand)! Funny! Then we spent the night relaxing - recouping from our traveling!One thing we realized is that a lot of people don't speak English here or if they do- little and we don't speak any German! Quite a wake up call for us because it is actually pretty hard to communicate sometimes! What a great experience though, right?!

It must have been good to have a couple slower days in your travels. Did the Italian food in Germany compare to what you had in Venice?
