Sixth Day in Germany

This day Chase only did a little conference and we spent the rest of the day visiting one of the most famous castles in Bavaria, Germany- Neuschwanstein Castle and its mother castle- Hohenschwangau Castle.
Here is the Hohenschwangua Castle- which belonged to the parents of King Ludwig II. It was just one of their summer residences. It was quite interesting inside and not as extravagant as King Ludwig's residences although really neat to learn about their history and day to day living.

Here is the Neuschwanstein Castle known as the Disney castle because supposedly the Disney castle was patterned after this one. It was quite impressive. Most fittingly King Ludwig II was known as a fairytale king.
A different view of the castle with a friendly local who posed with us!
And some other views...

It was just so fun to take pictures of- sorry for the redundancy!
A pretty church on the way back to the hotel after visiting the castles.
Some pictures of our cute hotel!
What a fun day!

Just their summer residence, huh? Thanks for all the pictures! I can imagine being there.
