Third Day in Germany

So the third day in Germany was a little more interesting for me while Chase was in his conference! I actually went to a local museum. Although everything was in German and I couldn't understand anything it was a great outing!
We went to this sweet little place for lunch and had a local dish of brats and fries and some weird sauce. It also came with a roll.

After Chase was done with the conference for the day we headed to Salzburg, Austria. It was amazing! This is an awesome cathedral that is so beautiful.

We arrived at the perfect timing because just as we came in and sat down music started playing. It was a nice program with absolutely amazing organ solos. It was truly a highlight.
Walking down a quaint shopping street in Salzburg.
Mirabella Gardens and Palace in Salzburg. Quite beautiful and extensive gardens.
Us standing in the gardens.
Chase and that palace.
After walking around the gardens and such we found this awesome playground with this even cooler slide! It totally brought out the kid in me and Chase! It would probably not be allowed in the States because seriously it was pretty steep! So awesome!
Chase playing life size chess- reminds me of Harry Potter! Ha ha! P.S. Notice the old men playing real chess in the background!
A cool fortess in Salzburg.
We loved Salzburg- it was a very lovely place!

It looks like you had a grand time! I've been to the palace in Salzburg before, although it is in early March and it was still cold and snowy and no green - it looks much prettier now!

Stunning pictures! How marvelous that you were able to accompany Chase on this trip. All these pictures are great, but my favorite by far is the one of you and Chase in the Mirabella Gardens. Beautiful family!
